Racing is cancelled tonight due to Mother Nature. Don't forget there is the BC Champs & Premier Series at Ridge Meadows Saturday afternoon & Sunday morning. Also racing at Langley on the weekend too.

BC Premier Series/ Canada Cup & The PRO-AM

IT'S THIS WEEKEND!!!! COME OUT AND RACE! COME OUT AND CHEER! COME OUT AND ENJOY ALL THE ACTION AT ACTION BMX!

Seasoned and new riders are all able to participate in these races.  

There will be a BBQ, Beer Garden, and Vendors!

A Few Things

Looks like a great night for Racing! I know Delta doesn't have school tomorrow, not sure of the other districts. Come on out!

Also, if you have a bit of time this Saturday, we would love some help with the final touches before our Canada Cup/Premier Series/ Pro-am Race Weekend!

Just a heads up that we will be running coaching and gates on Monday, May 22nd.  

If you haven't already done so online, sign up for the Premier Series in person by THursday May 25th to recieve the $5 discount (Online until Wednesday 24).  We will take cash or cheque! A reminder as well, that since Next weekend is a UCI event, they will be checking licences, Please ensure that you have your hard copy or the email copy that they sent you.  Proper plates and numbers will be required.  

  • Yellow plates with black numbers for boys 20" class
  • Blue plate with white numbers for girls 20" class
  • Red plate with white numbers for cruiser class

Calling All Parent Volunteers

Hey Parents,  Our biggest race weekend of the year is coming up May 26-28 and we could use your help. As you may (or may not) know, Action BMX is run by volunteers. This means practices and races can not be held without a lot of help from our volunteers.  We are calling on all of you to step up and help our Canada Cup/BC Premier Race weekend be a success.  No Experience is neccesary.  We have a lot of positions to be filled and if we could get them sorted out before the race weekend, we would be relieving a lot of stress of the executive committee (that is also made up of all volunteers).  Here's what we need on each day

Breakfast/lunch BBQ (at least 3)

Bartender with serving it right (2)

Corners (3)

First Aid (2)

Finish Line (3)

50/50 (2-3)

Staging (2)

Parking Attendants (3)

Set up/tear down
